The first tip is to make yourself very clear of the fact that the dictionary's definition of a particular word does not always match with what it is actually meant in the Bible.

According to Webster's pocket dictionary, the meaning of the word "believe" is to accept something as true or real and to hold on to religious beliefs, but according to the biblical scripture it is believed that faith in God is not all about intellectually believing in the veracity of something. Genuine belief according to the Bible is defined as obedience to God.

The apostle Paul wrote, "But they have not all obeyed the gospel, for Esaias saith, Lord, who hath believed our report" (Rom.10:16)? Scripture also says, "Even so faith (belief), if it hath not works (obedient action), is dead, being alone"

The second tip is to make you aware of the fact that you should pay adequate as well as close attention to the scriptures that are present just above and below a scripture in question. One must also pay attention to the context and situation taking place in a given passage.

The third tip is to choose the Bible in the most perfect was as well as wisely to read and study aids.
If someone is truly desperate to understand God's word, it's recommended that one should read the King James version of the
Bible. The New King James version of the scriptures is geared up with so much more than simply remove pronouns such as "thee" and "thou" and then replacing the words with "you".

The fourth tip involves that one must have a lot of resistance in terms of frustration when answers escape the reader. It is a fact that Understanding of the scriptures takes time, as well as a lot of patience and immense amount of dedication. It also requires plenty of pure desire to learn to obey God. One must have ample faith in his promise to fully satisfy everyone that hungers after righteousness (Mat. 5:6). You can also write down in a notepad, questions as well as scriptures that are making you confused so that you can review them periodically.

The fifth and final tip says that one should have the prayer of faith that asks God for wisdom. The motto of knowing God's word is to know and travel the road that leads to eternal life, the road that leads  to paradise in the hereafter. One can only travel the road with the help of faith that begins with believing that God will make us go through that journey.

The Bible says, "If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him. But, let him ask in faith, nothing waivering, for he that wavereth is like a wave of the sea driven with the wind and tossed. For let not that man think that he shall receive any thing of the Lord. A double minded man is unstable in all his ways."
