At times, juggling between study, life and professional responsibilities gets difficult. Here are some of the basic tips that can help in maintaining a proper balance between all the three.

Students who are studying on a full time basis generally have four or five classes, each consisting of about three hours duration every week. Every student is also required to chart out an hour's worth of study for each hour of class. If a student has a fifteen credit load and works full time then, balancing both of them becomes difficult.

Therefore, if you don't want to spoil your grades and work well. Then try these steps:

  • find employees in your job who are ready to work around your school schedule.
  • schedule your classes with large blocks of time but avoid long breaks between them. If you are unable to schedule your classes then try studying during your breaks.
  • set priorities for yourself and avoid wasting your time on useless things.
  • play with your strengths for instance, if you are good in mathematics, then try devoting less time for it as compared to the subject you're not as comfortable.
  • never let anyone make you feel bad for getting an education.

You might think that, people who can easily manage their job, work and life are a rare breed. In a recent study shows that, more than 9% of students who are studying full time also work for 35 hours or more every week. If you are still unsure about handling all three of them, then try studying part time or through online courses and work accordingly. You may also consult with other who are already managing school, work and life comfortably. Therefore, when it comes to handling or maintaining a proper balance between all three of them only you have to consider what's best for you.
