How To Integrate Technology into Learning
Today training departments struggle with budget issues as well as in proving their worth. The departments are continuously struggling to make the study interesting, more engaging as well as motivating. Integrating technology in the learning program is the best way to maintain efficiency and increase engagement.

Computer based training is the most obvious type of technological training improvements. We often think that CBT is performed alone at desk. It is true, but CBT can be integrated into classrooms easily. For example, if the classroom course is lengthy, you can put information pieces in an interactive format directing the participants at certain points in the course. This helps them in learning from some person other than instructor.

Technical simulations, tutorials and quick reference guides are another way of making the training interesting. If the course is on teaching computer or the technical skills, you can create technical simulations for teaching skills, teaching it or the combination of the two.

Teacher can also teach the entire skill and then make the participants move to computers for going through a simulation on any subject. CBT allows for technical task, animation as well as video streaming.

You can integrate technology by using internet or intranet for learning. If a case study is a part of the curriculum, you can include online research on it in the classroom. You can direct the participants to increase their knowledge as well as show them where this knowledge is located. Such information is another way to focus on each participant.

Involvement of technology can increase the training efficiency and satisfaction. We have overlooked video technology as a learning tool. Advanced courses of sales, management, leadership and presentation becomes more effective with video. Inclusion of video provides a platform for interaction that might not happen while teaching via computer.
