Mercedes-Benz USA (MBUSA) recently reported their 2011 sales figures and if those are any indication of the economy rebounding, things are sure looking bright in 2012.

MBUSA reported they sold 264,460 vehicles sold in 2011, representing the highest annual volume on record with a 17.5% increase over the 225,007 vehicles sold during the same period in 2010.  When you look at December figures alone, they reflect an over 30% improvement over December 2010.

C-Class

Especially for those new to Mercedes, there is nothing quite like the Mercedes-Benz C-Class. Aurora drivers can certainly attest to this.

 

The ever-popular, sporty C-Class, best known as the gateway to the Mercedes-Benz brand for younger and first-time Mercedes-Benz buyers, led the way in 2011 with sales close to 70,000 units, reflecting an increase of almost 18% compared to 2010 sales.

E-Class

The 9th generation E-Class, one of the most popular models at Mercedes-Benz of St. Charles, followed the C-Class with sales of 62,736.

 

M-Class

To round out the top 3 best-sellers of 2011 was the all-new M-Class with sales of 35,835.

 

Models such as the ML350 SUV and ML550 SUV have proven very popular for drivers due to the combination of uniqueness of safety, comfort, luxury and performance.
